Job title:
Accounts Payable Specialist
Years' experience:
min 3 years in an AP or finance-related role
Employment type:
Full time, temporary contract (4 months)
Location:
Lanseria - must be able to travel to location.
Availability:
Must be available to start on 1st December
Overview:
Processing of all supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Key responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions
- Prepare and administer regular payment runs
- Monthly creditor reconciliations; handle queries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues
- Prepare monthly age analysis
- Prepare monthly AP reports
- Ensure adherence to internal controls
- Assist with monthend closing activities
- Provide support for audits and financial reporting
- Willing to perform any adhoc tasks that may arise.
- Assist with yearend activities.
Key requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma
- Knowledge of double entry and cost centre accounting
- Proficiency in Excel
- Able to work to deadlines
- Able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Experience in MS D365 an advantage
Salary range and benefits:
R20,000 per month, four month contract
