    About the Role

    We are seeking a Junior WordPress / Front-end Developer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with creating and maintaining user-friendly, visually appealing, and responsive websites and web applications.

    Responsibilities

    1. Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into WordPress themes and templates.
    2. Customise basic WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.
    3. Integrate front-end elements with back-end systems.
    4. E nsure websites are responsive across different devices and platforms.
    5. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues under guidance.
    6. Support website optimisation for performance and SEO.

    Required Skills and Experience

    You should have:

    1. 1+ years of experience working with WordPress, including building or customising websites.
    2. A good understanding of semantic markup and common CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid).
    3. Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems is a plus.
    4. The willingness to learn debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
    5. Good written and verbal communication skills to work with teams and clients.

    Bonus Points

    It would be great if you have:

    1. Exposure to PHP for basic WordPress customization.
    2. Awareness of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
    3. A passion for visual design and user experience.
