    Food and Beverage Supervisor Role

    We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the Hospitality industry as a Food and Beverage Supervisor. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive team environment.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Resolve guest complaints efficiently
    • Assist with rostering, taking into account forecasts, wage costs, staff requests, etc.
    • Evaluate and adjust staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for each service period
    • Maintain beverage costs within budgetary parameters
    • Report equipment shortages to the manager promptly
    • Conduct comprehensive staff training sessions, including induction and product knowledge
    • Counsel staff underperforming relative to Outlet standards
    • Actively participate in scheduled meetings
    • Take charge of the outlet/area in the absence of the Manager, making key decisions and leading the team
    • Manage daily stock ordering
    • Display flexibility when working across various F&B areas

    Required Experience & Qualifications

    • Degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field
    • Proven supervisory/managerial experience in F&B departments, preferably in a four-star hotel
    • Experience with rostering, staff scheduling, and managing staffing levels
    • Ability to effectively manage beverage costs within budget
    • Proficiency in conducting staff training, including induction and product knowledge
    • Capacity to take charge in the absence of the Manager, making informed decisions, and leading a team
    • Effective communication skills in meetings and among team members
    • Willingness to work across various F&B areas
    • Understanding of the food and beverage industry, trends, and best practices
