Sales & Marketing Manager Mining/Minerals/Metals ~ Manufacturing

Pretoria - Gauteng - South Africa

Reporting to the MD you will be required to effectively obtain profitable results with the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Matric
Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing
Min 10 years of sales experience
Minimum 5 years of management experience
Previous Technical Product experience selling to the Mining sector or the Manufacturing/ Production sector
Knowledge of the mining sector is highly advantageous

Key Result Areas:

Map potential customers and generate leads and new opportunities for the organisation
Maintaining and improving relationships with existing clients
Manage the sales admin function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible
Advising senior management on maximising business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan
Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team
Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities & performance standards of each member of the sales team
