This position forms part of the management team and is responsible for:

  • Overseeing and approving all accounting transactions and processes.
  • Compiling financial and administrative management reports and budgets.
  • Compiling financial statements as well as managing audits.
  • Effective control of the cost accounting, quotation and production systems.
  • Managing the outputs of the financial and administrative team.
  • Providing sound input, insight and advice to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in finance or accounting.
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in managerial reporting and accounting software (preferably Pastel).
  • Excellent people skills with proven experience in leading and motivating a team.
  • Teamorientated with the desire to be holistically involved in the organisation.
  • Uncompromised character with high levels of integrity and transparency.

Working hours:
Mon - Thu from 07:30 - 16:30 and Fri from 07:30 - 13:30.
