Main Job Responsibilities:

Preparation of the monthly, weekly & daily production plans by line.
Calculation of lead times taking into consideration raw material, tooling etc.
Calculation of raw material requirements based on orders received
Following up on orders especially when the order book is low
Raising of TBO5s for raw material & consumables
Attending department production /planning meetings
BOM verification BOM vs Actual consumption
Reporting on the plan vs Actual & following up on deviations
Daily Preparation & distribution of the Back Order & Sales status
Liaising directly with customers on orders & queries
Product assemblies to be completed once the product has been manufactured
Providing customers with quotations.
Other reasonable duties as required within the department
Customer communication

Qualification and Experience:

Grade 12
Qualification in Planning & Operations Management

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Knowledge of office administration, work instruction and Accpac
Product knowledge is essential
High degree of integrity & honesty
Analytical and problem solver
Excellent time management skills
Must be dedicated, organized and a team player
Enthusiasm and accuracy with figures and good communication/ writing
Shipping knowledge would be an added advantage
Good communication skills with customers and other factory personnel
