Description

A leader in the steel industry has a management role available at their Cato Ridge facility to control and manage their Hi Cold Roll Mill as well as their colour coating lines in accordance with company and customer standards.

The key responsibilities for this role will include ensuring budgeted throughput achieved per shift, keeping yield to agreed levels, plant utilisation, managing shutdowns, ensuring minimum delays and downtime in consultation with Engineering department, ensuring efficiencies are achieved and overall health and safety targets are met.

Coupled with continuous improvement planning, management of staff and industrial relations this role further requires at least a N6/ National Diploma in Engineering qualification and 7 years intense production experience in a line management capacity in either cold rolled milling, metal coating or colour coating lines.

THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. Experience in MS Office, SAP and HMI is highly advantageous.
