Post Production Supervisor - Johannesburg, South Africa - Rapid Blue

Rapid Blue is looking for a post production supervisor with reality television experience.
Ensure the technical shooting team are aware of technical deliverables.

Setup the ingest system and procedures according to Rapid Blue's policies, and ensure the ingest runs in accordance to these policies.

Immediately report any problems found with footage and or audio from location whether this be quality or missing footage.
Ensure that all duties are executed within the post-production schedule.
Set up internal and client viewings.
Booking of any external post facilities.
Ensure that all tapes/cards/files for the production are kept safe and in order.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed with the delivery of each episode


These include:
music cue sheets, FCC sheets, PaC forms, transcriptions, credit lists, synopsis, publicity stills and QC reports.
Ensuring all episodes have been QC'd and passed with the external facility before delivery.
Oversee delivery of episodes to the broadcaster.

Ensuring the post team are conforming to the Rapid Blue post production guidelines, especially regarding media management, project and timeline naming conventions and project organisation.

Providing copies for client as required by the production.
Provide any publicity and social media assets to the broadcaster or/and their agency.
Manage editors and post production schedule and any problems/issues that may arise.
Assist with any Rapid Blue Requirements.
