    Business Development Consultant

    Momentum Group Limited is seeking a Business Development Consultant to join our team. As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for advising clients on motor and household domestic insurance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generating sufficient leads to ensure at least 10 client quotes per week and 40 per month
    • Writing a minimum of 8.5 policies per month
    • Maintaining and updating Lead Generation Matrix weekly
    • Contacting clients promptly after a quote request to conduct needs analysis and provide professional advice
    • SIGNING UP AT LEAST 5 ACTIVE LEAD REFERRAL AGENTS
    • Completing weekly reports on leads, quotes, sales, premiums, and other relevant data
    • Staying informed on product comparisons and MI product updates
    • Ensuring compliance with all insurance regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines
    • Maintaining relevant skills and knowledge to provide professional advice
    • Adhering to dress code and maintaining a professional appearance

    Requirements:

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • FAIS Credits (minimum 30 credits in short-term insurance if first appointment was before 2010); or a full recognized qualification as per the FSCA list if on or after 01/01/2010
    • FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)
    • 12 CPD points
    • At least 3 years' experience in selling short-term insurance as a broker or tied agent
    • Call center agents are not preferred unless they have a minimum of 5 years' experience
    • All required regulatory exams and accreditation
    • Proof of minimum R10,000 commission earnings per month for one year
    • Own transport (car) and valid license

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Results-driven and committed to meeting targets
    • Good understanding of insurance products and services
    • Proven sales and business development skills
    • Familiarity with insurance regulations and standards
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
