The position will be based in the Cape Town office.

Position Overview:

Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead their oil and gas manpower supply business.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our Clients' manpower supply operations in the oil and gas industry.

Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable delivery of workforce solutions to their clients.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and contribute to the growth and profitability of the oil and gas manpower supply business.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for expansion and improvement, and recommend appropriate courses of action to senior

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team

Manpower Supply Management:

Oversee the sourcing, recruitment, and selection process of qualified personnel, ensuring that the right talent is provided to clients in a timely
Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to maintain a pipeline of skilled workers to meet current and future workforce

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the oil and gas industry.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of customer

Operational Efficiency:

Streamline processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and costeffectiveness.
Develop and implement best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality

Resource Management:

Monitor and manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and resource.
Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to maintain adequate inventory levels and timely delivery of supplies.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the operations and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting operational achievements and challenges.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in operations management within the oil and gas industry, specifically in manpower supply or related
Strong understanding of oil and gas workforce requirements, including specific skill sets and certifications.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating highperforming teams.
Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a focus on efficiency and costeffectiveness.
Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding
