    Job Description:

    Sagen Advisory Recruitment company is recruiting a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Facilities and Asset Manager for our renowned Property Management client, based in the Westlake area of Cape Town.

    In this leadership position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both the facility and asset management strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business administration, finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive experience in facility and asset management roles.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic Facility Management:

    Oversee and optimize day-to-day facility operations to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

    Develop and implement strategic plans for long-term facility management.

    1. Advanced Asset Management:

    Develop and implement advanced asset management strategies, including portfolio optimization and risk management.

    Make strategic decisions on asset allocation and investment opportunities.

    1. Financial Leadership:

    Lead budgeting and financial management activities for facility operations and asset portfolios.

    Provide financial leadership and guidance to ensure optimal resource allocation.

    1. Strategic Direction:

    Provide strategic direction for facility and asset management initiatives.

    Align facility and asset management goals with overall organizational objectives.

    1. Leadership and Mentorship:

    Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment of facility and asset management strategies with organizational goals.

    Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development.

    1. Risk Management:

    Implement advanced risk management strategies for both facility and asset-related risks.

    Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma or Qualifications in business administration, finance, or a related field.
    2. Practical knowledge of facility and asset management practices.
    3. Budgeting and financial management skills.
    4. 5+ years of progressive experience in facility and/or asset management roles.
    5. Proven track record of successful portfolio management and strategic decision-making.
    6. Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
    7. Computer literate.
    8. Valid driver's license.
    9. Own transport.

    Remuneration: Market Related
