Qualification:
- NQF Level 7 (Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Sustainable Finance, Development Finance, or related field). A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
Experience: - Proven experience (minimum 7 years) working in social impact design, community development, or rural enterprise development, preferably in South Africa or similar contexts.
- Strong understanding of gender dynamics, poverty alleviation strategies, and empowerment approaches targeting women and vulnerable groups in rural communities.
- Demonstrated experience in program planning, participatory methods, and community engagement techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in business plan development, financial analysis, and market research.
- 7+ years' professional experience in farming and have practical exposure to on- farm production, value chain development and leading agricultural enterprises.
- Registration with recognised agricultural organisations is advantageous.
- Must be computer literate and possess sound knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and a track record in production risk management.
