- Prepare Neapolitan-style pizzas to a high standard.
- Ensure workstations are clean and sanitized before and after use.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all utensils and cooking equipment.
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to ensure consistency and quality.
- Conduct regular temperature checks on food and equipment to maintain food safety standards.
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings in accordance with recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Present pizzas attractively and efficiently.
- Produce alternative bakery products for guests with specific dietary requirements.
- Participate in other duties as assigned within the scope of competence.
- Maintain a clear understanding of and comply with Food Safety standards.
- Utilize HACCP Flow Charts prescribed by the Food Safety Management Team.
- Fluent English language skills, with knowledge of other languages considered an asset.
- High School or college education.
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar role in a hotel or cruise vessel environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high-volume kitchen operations.
- Clear understanding and application of company sanitation protocols.
- Valid South African Passport.
- Police Clearance Certificate.
