    About the Role

    Anakin Recruitment Agency is seeking a seasoned Industrial Instrumentation sales professional to join our team as an Industrial Automation Solutions Consultant.

    As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling industrial automation solutions into a defined geographical area. Your primary objective will be to identify and provide technical solutions to enhance clients' business performance.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Sell industrial instrumentation solutions to various clients in your designated territory.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, principles, and internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure yearly budgets are met by achieving total industrial instrumentation sales targets.
    • Prepare and present product presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits of our solutions.
    • Submit weekly call reports detailing your sales activities and progress.
    • Attend regular sales meetings to discuss market trends, share knowledge, and align strategies.
    • Be proactive in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Responsible for achieving high levels of successful sales activity.
    • Accountable for meeting industrial instrumentation sales targets at required gross margins.
    • Authority to provide technical solutions to clients and sign documents within specified limits.
    • Authority to compile tender submissions to meet client needs.

    Requirements:

    • Technical qualification or plant experience in industrial instrumentation.
    • Proven sales track record with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales within industrial instrumentation.
    • Knowledgeable in industrial automation with experience in selling solutions.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Client-driven and customer-focused mindset.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Mature personality with outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to operate independently.

    What We Offer:

    • Remuneration: R600,000 per annum (CTC), depending on experience.
    • Open-ended commission (OTE) based on sales margin.
