    Description

    The Intermediate Business Analyst will be a key liaison between stakeholders and business units, applying structured tasks and techniques to address medium to large projects with medium risk. This role involves understanding business challenges, opportunities, needs, structures, policies, and operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
    • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements through engagement with business stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories.
    • Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and solutions.
    • Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder meetings to gather business and functional requirements.
    • Define business processes, workflows, and use cases to support system enhancements.
    • Assist in system configuration, testing, and implementation to ensure successful delivery.
    • Support process optimization by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
    • Testing & Implementation Support
    • Collaborate with QA and testing teams to ensure requirements are correctly translated into test cases.
    • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions against business needs.

    Key Skills & Competencies

    • Business Analysis & Process Modelling (BPMN, UML)
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
    • Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
    • Ability to document clear and concise business and functional requirements
    • Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance
    • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, SQL, and Postman

    Minimum Requirements

    • Degree or Diploma in Business Analysis, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
    • Business Analysis Certification (ECBA, CBAP, or similar) Advantageous
    • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services
    • Proven track record working on medium to large projects with medium risk
    • Experience in banking, insurance, asset management, or other financial sectors
