A leading turnkey solutions provider in Network Optimisation, DC Power Systems, Energy and Telecommunications fields, has a great opportunity for an Internal Sales Representative to develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential clients, building relationships, explaining technical information, and preparing quotations.
Based in Midrand, Johannesburg you will be tasked to deliver a differentiated product to market, which addresses market needs and represents a viable business opportunity.
KPi's will include:
- Follow up and qualify new sales leads, turning them into revenue
- Marketing products through cold calling
- Maintain and expand a customer database
- Obtain orders and achieve sales targets
- Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities by interpreting technical requirements and providing technical information.
- Key account management
- Place and process orders
- Follow up on customer's delivery, installation, and/or delay dates.
- Maintain and improve quality result deliverables
- Keep abreast of new products, market conditions, advertising, and promotional trends
Requirements:
- Min. 3 years internal sales experience within a technical environment
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experienced with web presentation tools
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills and telephonic skills
- Previous sales experience within Telecoms or Energy fields preferred.
