Our client a large dealership in Cape Town is currently looking at employing a Qualified Mechanic

The dealership is situated in Goodwood


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform service, repair, and maintenance on customers' vehicles.
  • Mechanical and Electronic Diagnostics
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Diagnosing, fault finding, repairing, rewiring, etc on a motor vehicle
  • Liaise with admin regarding plans for services and repairs and other tasks for the day.
  • Achieve production targets.
  • Achieve monthly invoicing targets.
  • Ensure all systems and procedures are being implemented and adhered to.
  • Assess, repair, and service vehicles correctly cost effectively, and timeously.
  • Ensure correct inspection reports are conducted.
  • Ensure that all vehicles leave the workshop in a clean condition after a service or repair.
  • Assist other workshop staff where and when required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Min 3 years post trade test workshop experience
  • Qualified Trade Tested: Petrol / Diesel Mechanic (Technician)
  • Able to work on both Diesel and Petrol engines.
  • Experience in diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Valid driver's license with own vehicle
  • Computer literate

Salary:
R15, R20,000.00 per month
