    Job title: Service Advisor – Pinetown

    Description

    The Vehicle Maintenance Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences at our automotive dealership in Pinetown. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that quality service is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Acting as an interface between the technical team and customers to ensure quality service delivery.
    • Providing estimated cost analysis of repairs and routine maintenance to customers.
    • Determining the services necessary and predicting the time needed for completion.
    • Maintaining constant communication with customers throughout the repair process.
    • Preparation of service estimates and selling routine maintenance/repair services.
    • Conducting follow-ups regarding services and customer inquiries.

    Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for:

    • Receiving customers in a professional and friendly manner to ensure they feel valued.
    • Liaising and interacting with customers attentively to understand their service needs.
    • Preparing service estimates, selling routine maintenance/repair services, and conducting follow-ups regarding services and customer inquiries.
    • Interacting and communicating with customers effectively, explaining service details in an understandable and appropriate manner, involving Service Technicians when necessary.
    • Maximizing customer awareness of all products and services available.
    • Creating collaborative internal and external partnerships to expedite service delivery.
    • Scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling queries.
    • Assisting with the coordination of alternate transportation, car rental reservations, shuttle services, etc.
    • Maintaining excellent standards of departmental administration, including service sheets, invoices, job cards, warranty claims, authorization, etc.
    • Maintaining a customer database with contact details and information.
    • Assisting the dealership to achieve and maintain industry standards of process efficiency and service excellence.
    • Developing and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty to ensure repeat business.
    • Ensuring customer complaints are effectively managed via relevant CRM system/s.
    • Maintaining and further developing personal knowledge to remain current and relevant.
    • Attending regular team meetings, sharing and receiving feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Attending OEM training courses and developmental training opportunities allocated.
