Job Summary
The individual must be able to travel daily to Rondebosch
- Work independently;
- Have good manners and work ethic;
- Be hardworking;
- Ability to work from Monday to Sunday and work flexible hours;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Minimum of Grade 12;
- Previous experience a must preferably in hospitality
Personal Traits:
- Good communication skills;
- Reliability is essential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops;
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment;
- Keep storage areas and carts wellstocked, clean, and tidy;
- Sort, count, and mark clean linens;
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary;
- Cleaning Residents rooms, sweeping and vacuuming, dusting etc.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware;
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts;
- Run errands such as taking laundry to the cleaners and buying groceries.
Education:
- High School (matric) (required)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (required)
