    Role Purpose

    The purpose of this role is to assist the Principal and Senior Consultant with day-to-day activities required to manage a portfolio of clients.

    Key Requirements

    • 3-5 years' consulting experience in the employee benefits environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of Employee Benefits and related legislation and its application.
    • Familiarity with the financial services and employee benefits industry.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients.
    • Tackle queries promptly and efficiently ensuring timely resolution.
    • Become a point of contact for service providers to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
    • Maintain a consistent level of service delivery to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
    • Contribute to accurate calculations and allocation of commission and invoices to clients.
    • Verify retainer income invoicing for stand-alone funds and ad-hoc services excluded in the retainer.
    • Present high-quality agendas, minutes, and file notes for client meetings.
    • Follow up on action items post-meetings and execute tasks within agreed timelines.
    • Lead the re-broke process for all clients in the portfolio and prepare comprehensive reports.
    • Manage section 14 processes within legislated timelines.
    • Assist in installing new business while maintaining efficiency and meeting agreed deadlines.
    • Provide current advice and information regarding solutions to clients/stakeholders.
    • Participate in initiatives that improve or enhance the client experience.
    • Make recommendations to enhance client service and fair treatment of clients and employees.
    • Implement, track, and measure client deliverables in line with SLA.
    • Promote client retention through successful service delivery.
    • Ensure accurate reports and documentation are provided to clients as per agreement.
    • In executing the CVP, identify opportunities for new business or cross-selling under senior consultant guidance.
    • Travel to client offices in South Africa's other provinces.
    • Attend Board of Trustees meetings and deliberate on death claims, making recommendations.
