    Overview:

    Are you ready to step into a pivotal role in the world of material management and supply planning? We're on the lookout for a vibrant Scheduler/Buyer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you won't just be managing materials; you'll be orchestrating the symphony of our operations to ensure precision, efficiency, and excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    Demand Planning:

    • Dance with data as you review and verify demand forecasts within our state-of-the-art ERP system.
    • Keep your finger on the pulse with Inventory Level Projection (ILP) and RO lists.

    Supply Planning:

    • Join the monthly Sales and Operations planning dance, setting the rhythm for success.
    • Glide through daily backlog rescheduling, always in sync with our priorities.
    • Showcase your long-term planning prowess, identifying and addressing capacity constraints.
    • Lead the way by firming orders within our ERP system, making moves only after receiving the green light through our approvals framework.
    • Perform a well-choreographed follow-up with suppliers, ensuring harmony in open order status.
    • Share your spotlight with suppliers, providing them with the verified demand forecasts they need.
    • Choreograph all supply-related activities for site changes, leaving no room for missed steps.

    Reporting and Performance Management:

    • Shine a spotlight on stock-out situations, analyzing their every move.
    • Be the star of the show as you compile quarterly vendor performance reports.
    • Keep the tempo high with On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance, ensuring every note is pitch-perfect.
    • Take the stage with your monthly and quarterly sales forecast reports, always in perfect harmony.
    • Maintain a well-organized tracker for non-conforming stock investigations and claims.
    • Let obsolescence be a thing of the past, as you continue to shine in this role.

    Logistics Planning:

    • Be the conductor of our weekly shipment symphony, orchestrating each note to achieve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) crescendos.
    • Choreograph seamless coordination with manufacturing sites and logistics service providers, ensuring flawless documentation and processing of shipments.
    • Keep your ear to the ground, tracking shipments, including the movements of raw materials (Toll).
    • Be our risk-minimizing maestro, identifying any potential hiccups in the delivery of our orders.
    • Take center stage as you coordinate actions that arise from project meetings.

    Planning & Procedures:

    • Take the lead in optimizing our current processes, always seeking to add new moves to our playbook.
    • Be the choreographer of change, proposing improvements to management on processes, tools, techniques, and products.

    Asset/Resource Coordination:

    • Set the stage for success by assessing the resource needs of your area of work.
    • Request and allocate the necessary assets and resources to ensure our work objectives are met.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Play a key solo as you provide technical advice to resolve issues faced by our internal stakeholders.
    • Continue to innovate and enhance our processes, tools, techniques, and products.

    Background/Experience:

    • Take a bow if you have 6+ years of relevant experience.
    • Your National Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is your ticket to this performance.

    Specific Job Skills:

    • Command the stage with your MS Office proficiency.
    • Your production planning skills set the rhythm for success.
    • Your deep understanding of MRP/MPS logic ensures every move is well-calculated.
