- Trade Test or equivalent with strong mechanical knowledge / skills
- 5+ years working experience in manufacturing or engineering industry
- Valid drivers and own transport
- Use and read all types of measuring equipment
- Understand the working principle of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Attend to all machine breakdowns
- Interpret technical drawings
- General turning and machining
- Perform machine settings and changes when requested
- Identify quality issues and report
- Complete PM check with maintenance system ODIN
- Participate with monthly stock take, rectification of variances and spare part control
- Manufacturing of spare parts and changes to parts
- Updating and control of engineering drawings
- Assist with tooling and new equipment try-outs
- Daily checking on crucial equipment like, cooling towers & compressors
- Housekeeping in maintenance areas and where engineering work or repairs is carried out in the company
