Our client based in Johannesburg is seeking a Diesel Technician to join their team.


Requirements:


Qualifications:


  • Matric or equivalent
  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance and repairs of mobile, truck and refrigerated transport vehicles preferred
  • Nonrefrigerated transport vehicles and truck experience will also be considered.
  • Strong electrical/electronic experience and background
  • Prepared to work shifts and including weekends
  • Willingness to attend to callouts after hours and on weekends
Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
  • Prepared to work shifts and including weekends

  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work well with a team and under pressure.
  • Must be diligent and time competent to meet deadlines.
  • Must be customer service focused.

  • Mechanical proficiency.
  • Open to occasional travel within South Africa
  • Have passion for their work and can deliver quality results.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to complete projects in time
