Description

The ICT Project Administrator will support all internal and external stakeholders by effectively and effieciently coordinating various resources required for the implementation and successful completion of ICT projects.

Full cycle of project coordination
Prepare and conduct presentations to relevant stakeholders
Conduct basic computer usage training for end users.
Manage documentation related to projects: data and information compilation
Conduct quality inspections of ICT equipment and software after installation
Liaise with relevant parties regarding project requirements.
Obtain quotes from various suppliers for required materials/equipment.
Prepare purchase order and ensure purchases are authorized from required stakeholders.
Follow up on delivery of material/equipment.
Request invoices and assist with the processing of the invoice to from supplier to finance department after delivery of goods
Travel to assigned sites for support purposes.

Education/qualifications and experience

Matric (Essential)
NQF Level 6 IT related qualification (Essential)
Project management certificate
A+, N+, Server+, MCSE, ITIL V3/ITIL V4 Foundation (advantageous)
Minimum of 3 years + in technical support experience and project management

Excellent technical documentation preparation skills
Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness
Research and analyse information and make recommendations based on relevant evidence

Excellent problemsolving skills

Ability to breakdown complex problems into logical pieces.
Good organisational and time management skills ability to handle multiple work streams.
Exceptional Communication (Written and Verbal) and Interpersonal Skills
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server, Networks and dependencies, and End User Computing.
