Responsibilities


  • Overseas Purchasing - Placing of overseas orders, negotiating and creating and constant updating of overseas prices on our overseas pricelist forum. Outstanding order expediting and communication to the rest of the company of when stock will be arriving.
  • Forwarding - When goods are ready, to ensure that it gets given through to our forwarders with the best price and best deliveries possible. Renegotiating the best incoterms with suppliers and forwarders and the rates locally.
  • Purchasing team - Working with the local buyer to ensure that only the necessary is bought locally and stock is planned correctly so that we can source the stock from overseas and reach the saving targets set out on negotiation of prices for bringing in stock in bulk where possible and only buying out locally if its not possible to do so.
  • Responsible to take over the procurement department in the entirety and learning about our products and the movement thereof to enable you to run the department and prevent stock outages and the extra slow movers to in overflow.
Procurement management experience - 3 years


Salary:
R10, R25,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Alberton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Internal sales: 3 years (required)
