PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse the design assumptions regarding the capacity of link and bulk infrastructure to accommodate or service the demand for water and sanitation services.
  • Receive construction drawings from consulting engineers and ensure that they conform to requirements.
  • Assess site development plans against the organisation standards to check the availability of services using GIS, Alchemy and IMQS to ensure that the organisation services are not compromised, before approving.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • National Diploma (Civil Eng.) (NQF6).
  • 3 years working engineering experience.
  • Design of water and sewer systems.
  • Knowledge of township development processes, evaluation of construction drawings and assessment of site development plans

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R39,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Diploma (required)

Experience:


  • Engineering: 3 years (required)
  • Design of water and sewer systems: 3 years (required)
