    Hotel Operations Manager

    Responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring operational quality standards across all departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee hotel operations, implementing policies and procedures in line with company guidelines.
    • Maintain full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, and service standards.
    • Lead key property issues, including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment.
    • Conduct daily briefings and monthly staff meetings to ensure effective communication.
    • Handle complaints and oversee service recovery procedures.
    • Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, marketing, and sales planning.
    • Manage on-going profitability, meeting and exceeding revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
    • Deliver hotel budget goals and set strategic objectives for the property.

    Financial Management:

    • Closely monitor business reports and make informed decisions.
    • Ensure accurate monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General.
    • Maximize room yield through innovative sales practices and yield management.
    • Prepare monthly financial reporting for owners and stakeholders.

    Staff Management:

    • Act as a decision maker in hiring key staff, working closely with senior management.
    • Achieve good communication and interpret management decisions, policies, and attitudes.
    • Instil a culture of learning and assist in creating a positive work environment for staff and customers.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with department heads for activity execution.
    • Oversee and manage all departments, working closely with department heads.
    • Handle corporate client relationships and participate in new client acquisition.
    • Ensure statutory compliances, Occupational Health & Safety, fire regulations, and other legal requirements.
    • Chair and facilitate EE actions, demonstrate well-rounded knowledge of Industrial relations.
