    Network Engineer

    The Network Engineer role is a critical position in the company's IT infrastructure, responsible for designing building maintaining and documenting the network security infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and data security.

    Duties Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

    • Designing installing testing and maintaining network systems including Firewalls Routers Switches Intrusion Prevention Systems Intrusion Detection Systems Network Access Control NAC and Virtual Private Networks VPN
    • Administering troubleshooting and optimizing network equipment and software to meet business requirements
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations and security measures
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and address network-related issues
    • Developing and implementing network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats

    Job Experience Skills Required:

    To be successful in this role candidates should possess:

    • Relevant IT Networking and Security Certifications plus appropriate Diploma
    • Significant experience and product-specific training in network engineering and security
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
    • Ability and willingness to work extended hours shifts as required
    • Willingness to travel for work-related purposes
    • ITIL or Networking certificates advantageous
