    Description

    Job Title: Artisan - Auto Electrician

    A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Auto Electrician to diagnose and interpret electrical issues within vehicles.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Qualified Auto Electrician
    • At least 3 years of experience in the field
    • Prior experience with Volvo is an advantage
    • Willingness to work shifts and call-outs
    • Proficiency in computer systems
    • Personal transport
    • EC License (an advantage)
    • Able to work under pressure without supervision
    • Hands-on approach
    • Willingness to undergo additional training
    • Clean driving record
    • Good physical health

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Utilize various tools to diagnose and repair electrical issues
    • Install electrical systems using power tools, such as electronic screwdrivers and drills
    • Test electricity flow using voltage and current meters
    • Remove and replace electronic wiring using stripping tools
    • Responsible for complex repairs and maintenance of buses and automobiles
    • Troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems and order parts
    • May direct and train junior mechanics and serve as lead mechanic on repair jobs
    • Familiarity with organization, environmental, and safety regulations

    Salary: Estimated R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on experience
