Job Title:
Draughtsman


Key Job Purpose:
Design all layouts, drawings, and labels for projects during manufacturing.


Tasks and Duties:


  • Scaled templates of mounting plates and doors for all projects.
  • Detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing of any special parts required for projects.
  • Template file for all parts.
  • Consumable parts list.
  • Improving on layouts (efficient).
  • All standard and special labelling pertaining to projects.
  • Identification labels for the contractors (lockers).
  • All barcodes for the contractors (stores location).
  • Legend cards for distribution boards.
  • Photos need to be taken of all the completed panels before they are wrapped, crated, and dispatched.
  • Photos of shortages if clients insist project must leave for site incomplete.
  • Inside and Outside photos of all containers on arrival at our factory as well as after completion, just before dispatch.
  • All damaged equipment must be photographed with the project number and date attached.

Qualification and Experience:


  • Matric
  • AutoCAD/E-Plan

Training:


  • AutoCAD
  • E-Plan


  • SANS/IEC 6043

  • SANS 1973

Knowledge:


  • MS OFFICE
  • Electrical Drawings
  • Electrical Layouts
  • Single line Diagrams

Working Hours:

You might be part required to work outside of the normal working hours, which could include weekends

  • Monday
  • Thursday: 7:30 17:00
  • Friday: 7:30 15:00
Salary negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience.


Salary:
From R15,000.00 per month

  • Diploma (preferred)
