• Grade 12
• Qualified Welder Artisan with three years related work experience
• Two years work experience as a Trainer
• N4 Mechanical Engineering Certificate
• Trained/Registered Trade Test Assessor and Moderator

• Welder in manufacturing/mining/production environment
• Ability to train and prepare candidates in Welding
• Train the Trainer
• Candidates must be a South African Citizen;
• Welding experience in the manufacturing, production and mining environment
• Training of apprentices and P1 candidates will be advantageous

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Possess excellent command of the English language
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Excellent planning abilities
• Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Ability to adapt easily to change
• Ability to grasp and interpret technical processes and procedures efficiently
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a team, with the willingness to put in extra effort and time when the team is under pressure

• Training of apprentices/skills programmes/short courses
• Ability to train against the occupational qualifications and part qualifications
• Trade Testing/ARPL
• Training administration
