Tractor Mechanic/Workshop Foreman (Agri) in Kroonstad Region

This role involves directing and managing the efficient operation of the workshop, encompassing employees, project management, and time management.

The objective is to ensure the workshop department operates profitably.

The Workshop Foreman position necessitates reduced hours of technical support to key customers.

• Manage the daily operations of the workshop floor effectively.
• Ensure efficient administration of workshop-related tasks.
• Provide proactive customer support through alerts.
• Deliver effective administrative management and customer service liaison.
• Execute daily technical support for equipment servicing, repairs, and technology/precision farming equipment (with reduced hours allocated for administrative requirements).
• Maintain adherence to Health and Safety Standards and ISO Standards.
• Protect and manage company machinery and tools.
• Effectively manage human capital by overseeing workshop staff.
• Manage and oversee up-to-date training of technicians.

Requirements:

• Must hold a trade test.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience/mechanic experience.
• Minimum 5 years of product knowledge in agriculture mechanization (equipment and implements).
