Our client has an opportunity available for an Audit and Risk Committee Member based in Gauteng.


Requirements:


  • Sound knowledge and experience in accounting.
  • A proven record of service and membership with any one of the following Committees:
  • Audit Committee and/or
  • Any Governance Body is a prerequisite.
  • Sound knowledge of the private sector environment.
  • Knowledge of governance and risk management principles and control processes.
  • Knowledge of the bargaining administration industry.
  • Postgraduate qualification in the field of Accounting and Information Technology (IT).
  • Possession of a CA (SA), CISA qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:


  • Financial and performance reporting,
  • Risk management, fraud prevention.
  • Drive ethical behaviour.
  • Assurance activities, including internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and legal obligations.
  • Monitor, review, endorse, and advise the company on matters set out in its charter.
