Our client, a beverage manufacturer is seeking a Sales Professional to grow and manage their wholesale business within the Pretoria region.

The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling Company's products within that region, and will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, achieving sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets within the assigned region.
  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy to achieve sales goals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and ensure their satisfaction with the company's products.
  • Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities and developing new business relationships.
  • Attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and services.
  • Providing product demonstrations and training to customers as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Debtors management
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to customers, as required.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure customer needs are being met.

Qualifications /Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree / NQF 6 or similar
  • 35 years' experience in a sales or business development role in FMCG (non negotiable)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
