Description

Management of the Competence Centre Finance & Accounting with a total of 3 employees

Direct reporting to the CEO
Close working relationship with the Deputy CEO
Supervision of the bookkeeping and accounting
Preparation of the annual financial planning
Preparation of annual independent audit and other audits
Monthly and quarterly reporting to Germany, Local Financials, including monthly trial balances to the CEO (IFRS & German requirements)
Monthly cash flow forecasting / align cash flow with operations
Responsible for monthly departmental forecasting process
Preparation of monthly payroll
Preparation of all mandatory returns, including tax reports to SARS
Preparation of VAT returns and consolidation
Introduction of full cost accounting (incl. overhead

- and administrative costs)

Consolidation of the cost accounts for the foreign subsidiaries (Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe)
Maintenance of personnel records and files

Minimum Requirements
We are looking for a reliable, flexible team player who can work independently and self
- motivated. We presume excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a solution
- oriented, positive mindset.

German language skill B2 (or equivalent) or higher
Relevant degree/diploma in accounting, finance, or relevant field and at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Solid knowledge in South African accounting and taxation
Knowledge of MS Office and financial software programs (Sage Pastel)
Ability to present clear and concise financial information to various audiences
