    Job Purpose:

    Serve as the sales driver and main point of contact for key accounts, leading the reservations team, ensuring efficient and profitable operations, and establishing an environment that fosters smooth workflows and exceptional customer experiences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales:

    • Maintain excellent customer relationships
    • Gather agent feedback on sales and product needs
    • Guide the team on the customer journey and be an expert
    • Deliver on or exceed sales targets
    • Investigate and understand customers' and operators' business requirements

    Reservations:

    • Monitor quoting and operational accuracy
    • Ensure daily operational excellence
    • Monitor workload distribution and plan staff accordingly
    • Oversee quotation checks and create cost and margin awareness
    • Guide the team to achieve goals and sales targets
    • Process and analyze workload reports
    • Support staff expertise and knowledge on current systems and process optimization
    • Maintain high quality and drive profitability

    Human Resources:

    • Plan staff numbers, define requirements, and recruit
    • Keep records on leave and additional days worked
    • Build and maintain motivation and team spirit
    • Be approachable and supportive to staff
    • Ensure open communication and regular meetings
    • Establish clear targets and carry out annual performance appraisals
    • Develop and support staff

    Financial:

    • Ensure correct and timeous invoicing
    • Assist the team to resolve account queries
    • Demonstrate an understanding of cost, profit, and selling prices

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Know the customer product shelf and Private Safaris priorities
    • Be aware of competitors' products
    • Travel on educationals and familiarization trips
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and customer care
    • Support management decision-making
