Description

Duties:


  • Conduct investigations in terms of the forensic methodology, legislation and required standards from inception to completion.
  • Sound knowledge of legislation such as PRECCA, UK Bribery Act, FCPA, Criminal Procedure Act and related legislation.
  • Gather, review and analyse information in support of the investigation.
  • Prepare concise, accurate and constructive reports on investigations conducted.
  • Ability to identify risks and related control weaknesses in business processes arising from investigations.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies and internal security staff when necessary.
  • Represent the company or effectively testify in internal disciplinary hearings and/ or criminal or any other legal proceedings.
  • Provide regular updates to the reporting manager and

Forensic Audit.

  • Promote team work and achievement of set departmental objectives and goals.
  • Provide support to internal auditors on forensic information required from time to time.
  • Any other reasonable requests as may be allocated to you from time to time.
  • Knowledge of criminal/ civil and disciplinary proceedings.

Job Experience & Skills Required:


Qualifications:


  • Matric (Garde 12)
  • Degree in Accounting / Legal Degree
  • Commercial Forensic Practitioners (ICFP) required
  • Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) required
  • Relevant membership: CA(SA) SAICA or CIA (IIA)

Experience:
  • Completed Articles
  • 3 years practical working experience in forensic investigations.
  • Excellent report writing skills with convincing presentation skills required.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be a definite advantage.
  • Able and willing to travel between operations and/ or other destinations as and when required.

  • Strong proficient analytical skills and ability to work independently with little or no oversight required.
  • Exceptional aptitude to simultaneously and systematically handle multiple tasks under stressful conditions.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels throughout the organisation.
  • Excellent time management skills.
