    Job Title: Systems Administrator for ICT Management Services

    The Western Cape Government is seeking a qualified individual to provide administrative and technical support for the ICT Government Motor Transport (GMT) Systems and related services.

    About the Role

    This entry-level full-time position involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining ICT systems to ensure seamless operations.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Administer and maintain ICT systems, including hardware, software, and networks;
    • Provide technical assistance and support to users regarding ICT systems and services;
    • Troubleshoot and resolve ICT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner;
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement ICT system improvements;
    • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

    Key Requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field;
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Familiarity with ICT systems, hardware, and software.
