    Senior Roads and Highway Engineer/Technologist

    Job Title: Senior Roads and Highway Engineer/Technologist Category: Permanent (Employee) Contract Type: Full Time Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Roads and Highway Engineer/Technologist to join our team at Zutari. As a senior member of our Global Design Centre in Tshwane, you will play a key leadership role in the engineering design and modelling of road-related infrastructure, providing high-quality, innovative design solutions in a digital environment. Responsibilities

    • Lead the engineering design and modelling of road-related infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions.
    • Collaborate with international teams on projects in Australia and New Zealand, building on technical knowledge and expertise.
    • Demonstrate a genuine interest in making a difference in our business and the wider community, providing exceptional service to clients.
    • Take on leadership roles on projects, managing quality, project outcomes, and client satisfaction.
    • Develop innovative design solutions through a safe systems design approach.
    • Engage skills in a digital environment across diverse design, analysis, and modelling software from Bentley or AutoDesk suites.
    • Continuously improve technical capability while guiding, mentoring, and teaching younger team members.
    Minimum Requirements Relevant qualification (BEng, BSc or B Tech) in Civil Engineering Professional registration with Engineering Council of South Africa At least 8 years' experience in geometric design of roads and highways Strong geometric design and highway engineering skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong 3D modelling capabilities OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D preferred Demonstrated ability to form and nurture relationships with team members and clients Polite and professional communication skills with high levels of confidence and patience Drainage design and modelling capability is advantageous If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding position in a forward-thinking organisation, and you feel you have the relevant skills required, please submit your detailed resume with current and expected salaries.
