    Description

    Job Title : Protection Officer

    Overview:

    SBV Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protection Officer to join our team.

    Estimated Salary: R 200,000 - R 300,000 per annum.

    Job Description:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company assets, personnel, and visitors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Authorising all visitors before they enter the premises;
    • Maintaining policy compliance;
    • Issuing access permits to visitors and collecting signed permits on departure;
    • Escorting visitors to their destinations or arranging for collection at the entrance;
    • Positively identifying visitors before entry is authorised;
    • Ensuring after-hours visitors comply with company policies and procedures;
    • Making sure suppliers and service providers are not left alone on the premises and have departed after completing their duties;
    • Restricting employee access to departments they do not belong to;
    • Carrying out searching duties in a proper and ethical manner, adhering to company policies and procedures;
    • Searching employees and visitors within the rules of company policies and procedures;

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification;
    • No criminal record;
    • Clean credit history;
    • Not previously participated in YES programme (will be validated);
    • Must be unemployed (affidavit required to confirm);
    • Cannot be currently participating in an unemployment learnership;
    • Age between 25-30 years old.
