Description
We are looking for aPayroll and HR Administrator for a manufacturing plant with approx 200 employees.
Duties:
- Provide a costeffective payroll administration service compliant with corporate governance and statutory requirements
- Provide an effective and efficient salary processing and HR administrative service
- Processing payable hours, overtime, commissions, bonuses, tax, PAYE, UIF, EMP 201, 501, Skills Levies etc
- Prepare Offers, CTC statements for HR divisions on request
- Payroll Reconciliation
- Continuously review systems and processes to improve efficiency and cost savings
- Introduce new ideas or improvements to streamline payroll and HR
- Staying informed and keeping abreast of company policies, tax legislation and system changes that impact on remuneration and payroll functions
- Provide an effective and efficient Time and Attendance administrative service.
- Submission of journals to finance
- Ensuring benefits are captured and processed correctly.
- Completes monthly reconciliation with Medical Aid, Pension, PAYE, other reports
- Maintaining employee records
- Providing BBBEE administrative duties
- Facilitates Injury on Duty and Workmen's Comp processes with Local Dept of Labour
- Assist with compiling information for WSP & EE submissions.
- Facilitate all exit employee admin: UIF, Pension withdrawal, Medical Aid Exit
- Build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- General HR administration and HR Consulting including onboarding, retention, benefits administration, training etc
Requirements:
- A relevant degree or diploma or equivalent qualification
- 2 years experience on SAGE is essential
- 5 + years payroll processing experience essential. Not negotiable
- Competent in the use of the MS Office Suite (with advanced Excel skills) and ?
- Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret, process and present payroll data
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Detailed knowledge of employee tax and regulations
- Proficiency in all relevant modules of payroll software, incl. the integration/migration to other systems
Salary:
R15, R19,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
