Role Overview:

We are in search of a driven and accomplished Senior Financial Strategist to spearhead our financial operations and strategic planning. The successful candidate will possess a proactive approach and a robust analytical skill set, aimed at enhancing financial performance and facilitating our ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Planning: Formulate and execute financial strategies that are in line with the growth objectives of Versus Socks.
• Budget Oversight: Direct the budgeting process, encompassing forecasting, monitoring, and comprehensive reporting.
• Financial Analysis: Generate and deliver precise and timely financial reports to senior leadership.
• Cost Management: Evaluate and oversee operational expenditures, pinpointing opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and effectively manage associated risks.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with various departments to enhance decision-making processes and drive financial success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CA(SA) qualification is a significant advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial management capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Familiarity with Xero, Dear/Cin7, and Shopify is highly beneficial.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
