The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for directing the financial activities related to the PCV business line and act as Business Partner to the business leaders.

The position will be responsible for managing, preparing and submitting budgets, forecasts, and detailed analysis of operations and results and ensure compliance with corporate policies as well as accepted accounting principles.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with respective Regional Leadership Team to track financial performance and provide financial information, forecasting and analysis to help guide decision making and support in the achievement of the business's goals
  • Finance Business Partners both support and challenge the business to continually ensure that its strategies align with its financial goals
  • Work with business leaders to drive margin improvements
  • Work closely with Sales & Commercial teams on customer and product profitability and pricing analytics
  • Analyze financial data and operational cost for comparison to budget and forecast with focus on order intake, revenue and margin, cost levels and Net Working Capital (NWC). Highlight any trends that require attention or correction and work to implement improvements
  • Monitor and drive improvements in NWC working across the business units
  • Monitor and analysis of P&L's across the business line.
  • Coordinate, analyze and report on input from various operational groups to prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Identify key trends and opportunities and make recommendations
  • Evaluate business opportunities, investment projects, and cost optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals
  • Respond to unusual situations which dictate spontaneous and out of the ordinary solutions
  • Gather, monitor and analyze impact and results related to strategic initiatives and KPI's
  • Provide ad hoc support across finance functions and business/product lines

What you bring:

  • Qualified/Recently Qualified Accountant (Bcompt, CA(SA), CIMA)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good at building strong relationships with nonfinance individuals
  • Strategic thinker
  • Commercially curious mindset
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly IT literate, comfortable operating and learning new systems.
  • Strong Excel ability
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive "cando" attitude.
  • Proactive and ability to work on own initiative & demonstrate good work ethics.
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
