Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our DevOps team. This is a rotational position that will involve working from various locations, including Midrand, Menlyn, Rosslyn, and home office.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience in software engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with international IT and business product teams in the DevOps team.
• Close coordination with developers to ensure successful deployments and minimal downtime.
• Following up on incident tickets to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
• Maintaining and improving daily IT operations to reduce problem tickets.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience as a functional IT consultant, preferably with SAP EWM and WM(R/3) expertise.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug code and analyze functionality.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Solution Manager.
• Strong understanding of SAP Transportation Management and integration with other modules.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with the following skills will be at an advantage:

• Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and Solution Manager.
• Experience with scrum/kanban methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and improve processes using data-driven insights.
