    We seek a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in Azure, infrastructure management, and a strong automation mindset.

    In this role, you will work on innovative cloud projects, ensuring our customers' Azure environments are secure, scalable, and optimized while embracing an "Automate Everything" approach.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive monitoring and observability initiatives to ensure system reliability and high uptime.
    • Establish and enforce cloud security, compliance, and best practices to safeguard customer data.
    • Develop automated infrastructure provisioning tools using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM to streamline processes.
    • Implement and maintain containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for efficient resource utilisation.
    • Serve as an SME for Azure security models (RBAC, Key Vault, Managed Identities) and provide expert guidance.
    • Design and develop scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions that mitigate risks and enhance business agility.
    • Support critical incidents and troubleshooting to minimise business disruption and downtime.
    • Mentor peers in DevOps and automation methodologies, promoting industry-leading best practices.
    • Drive Cloud Direct's Azure Cloud Roadmap and contribute to service enhancements through innovation and continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and architecture.
    • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices.
    • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub, YAML, CI/CD Pipelines, and version control.
    • Proficiency in containerization & Kubernetes orchestration for efficient deployment and scaling.
    • Advanced scripting skills with Azure CLI, Bash, PowerShell, and other relevant programming languages.
    • Hands-on experience with Azure security models and cost optimisation techniques to reduce unnecessary expenses.
    • Experience in hybrid cloud solutions using Azure ARC for seamless integration and migration.
    • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, APIs) and their applications.
    • Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest Azure innovations and advancements.
