Our client in the Automotive Financial Services industry is seeking a Risk Manager to join their team in Johannesburg.


Main responsibilities:


  • Organize the construction of the company's comprehensive risk management system and internal control system.
  • According to the company's overall strategy, organize the formulation of medium and longterm plans and annual work plans in the company's risk management and internal control management, and organize their implementation.
  • Organize and propose the company's risk governance structure.
  • Organize and formulate risk management objectives such as the company's risk strategy, risk preference and risk limit.
  • Organize the formulation and implementation of risk management systems, procedures and methods covering various risks and businesses.
  • Organize the company's various risk identification work, develop risk measurement models, and accurately identify and evaluate various risks.
  • Organize the identification, evaluation, monitoring and reporting of the company's credit risk, operational risk and compliance risk.
  • Coordinate the risk monitoring and reporting of the company's market risk, bank account interest rate risk, liquidity risk, reputation risk, and information technology risk.
  • Organize the construction of big data risk control management system; organize the design, research and development, maintenance and iteration of risk control models.
  • Organize the establishment of risk management information system and data quality control mechanism.
  • Organize the establishment of the company's internal control system and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control.
  • Organize the fivelevel classification management of asset quality and put forward suggestions on the provision for asset impairment.
  • Organize the implementation, supervision of credit investigation, antimoney laundering, major events, protection of consumer rights and other management work.
  • Coordinate with local regulatory agencies, maintain daily work contact, receive onsite supervision and inspection, coordinate and organize relevant departments to cooperate with each other, and track and urge relevant departments to implement regulatory opinions.
  • Organize credit review, loan review, postloan offsite management, file management, quality management, etc.;
  • Organize and promote the company's risk management training and cultivate a good risk management culture.
  • Be responsible for coordinating the construction of risk control digital and intelligent systems.
  • Be responsible for establishing an antimoney laundering system.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree Majoring in economics, finance, law, actuarial science, etc.
  • More than five years of relevant work experience.
  • Organizational capability: Be able to effectively coordinate internal and external relations, and lead departments or crossdepartmental work teams to complete work tasks through organizational settings, resource allocation and other means.
  • Risk management capability: Be familiar with the specific implementation methods of risk management identification and control, be able to formulate risk identification and control procedures in combination with the characteristics of the industry, and arrange various risk control tasks in the management area.
