    We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Restaurant Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the front-of-house operations of our trendy restaurant in Faerie Glen.

    Job Summary

    The Restaurant Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the front-of-house, including staff management, stock control, opening and closing procedures, and cash-ups. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive excellent service and that our restaurant remains competitive in the market.

    Responsibilities:

    • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses.
    • Stock Control: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory, ensuring that we maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure that all pre-service and post-service tasks are completed efficiently, including cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing for the next day's service.
    • Cash-Ups: Manage the cash handling process, including counting tills, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
    • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional guest experiences by responding promptly to customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing personalized service.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ Years of Experience: Candidates with experience in a busy restaurant environment, preferably as a manager or assistant manager.
    • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and interact with guests effectively.
    • Team Player: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure.
    • Self-Motivated: Ambitious, driven, and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
    • Knowledge of Restaurant Administration: Familiarity with restaurant administration software and systems, including POS, inventory management, and accounting.
