Here at
Parker Steel we have an exciting opportunity for a
Customer Services Representative to join our Customer Services team at our satellite office in Durban.


You will be working on a
full time, permanent basis, 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and in return, you will receive a
competitive salary of R12,000 per month.

The Role and Responsibilities will include:

  • Be responsible for contacting a specified group of customers, by telephone to update on any delays or obstacles in production of goods.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and queries for the same specified group of customers, on the CS system and making the necessary arrangements to resolve any issues.
  • Raise appropriate collection and credit note requests.
  • Update the AS400 diary system and/or notepad with details of collection activity or other customer contact.
  • Liaise with both Sales Teams and Customers to ensure a smooth and quick resolution of all queries relating to incorrect delivery or an order.
  • To have a business like, courteous telephone manner in order that good working relationships may be established with both internal and external customers.
  • Answer inbound calls from customers.
  • Rectify any CS query on the day of being reported
