    Description

    Locum Doctor Position in Bryanston

    We seek a dedicated doctor to join our multidisciplinary practice in Bryanston, focusing on the rehabilitation of back and neck conditions.

    About the Role:

    This is a fixed locum doctor position, requiring a commitment of 2 days per week, with a maximum of 6 hours per day. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in back and neck conditions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with other clinicians.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provide comprehensive care for patients with back and neck related conditions
    2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans for chronic disease and pain management
    3. Offer expert advice on men's and women's health issues
    4. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the POPI Act at all times
    5. Collect, record, and manage sensitive patient information
    6. Communicate complex medical information to patients and their families
    7. Liaise with healthcare professionals in the community and hospitals
    8. Promote health education through collaboration with other health experts

    Requirements:

    1. Successful completion of residency training (Essential)
    2. Valid and up-to-date medical license registration with HPCSA (Essential)
    3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
    4. Dynamic personality with outstanding organizational and time management abilities
    5. Demonstrated decision-making and leadership skills
    6. Capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    7. Compassionate nature with excellent patient relations skills
    8. Proficient in treating common clinical presentations and managing various ailments
    9. Technologically adept, with proficiency in online billing systems (Training available)

    Working Hours:

    1. Tuesdays and Thursdays
    2. Minimum 4 to 6 hours, excluding lunch hour, with potential for increased hours based on patient load

    The remuneration package will be discussed during the interview process.

    Job Type: Part-time

    Expected Hours: 12 per week
