    Remuneration: Market Related dependent on skill set, knowledge, and experience

    Purpose Of The Job:

    Our Client a supplier of construction aggregates, has a fleet of heavy commercial machinery and vehicles that need maintaining and repairing, they require an experienced Yellow Metal Diesel Mechanic to join their Team

    Duties:
    • Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
    • Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, gearboxes, and braking system
    • Checking vehicle electrical systems.
    • Performing preventative maintenance and services on yellow machinery
    • Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
    • Attending to breakdowns and servicing
    Experience:
    • 10 years Diesel Mechanic experience on yellow equipment Volvo, Scania, Mercedes Benz
    Requirements:
    • Diesel Trade, Red Seal preferably
    • NQF Level 6 or above in Diesel/Motor Mechanics
    • Advanced experience in the Yellow Metal Industry
    • Code 10 or above driver's license
